Culture Night

For one night only this September museums, galleries, churches, historic houses, artist’s studios and cultural centres will open their doors late for a free night of entertainment, discovery and adventure across 20 towns, cities, counties and islands in Ireland.
With more than 120 organisations opening their doors until late in Dublin and hundreds more across the country this is one night of impressive culture not to be missed.
Take the family, catch up with friends, meet new people, jump on a free Dublin Bus, participate and experience the exhilaration of live performances, workshops, tours, talks, drama, dance and a whole range of other creative activities for free!
Culture Night 2010 will take place in the following regions: Dublin, Galway City and Galway County; Oughterard, Cork, Limerick, Waterford, Wexford, Sligo, Mayo, Wicklow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Westmeath, Letterkenny, Kerry, Carlow, Leitrim, Roscommon, and The Gaeltacht regions, facilitated by Ealaín na Gaeltachta.
Derry and Belfast will also host a Culture Night on Friday September 24th.

Culture Night is an initiative co-ordinated by Temple Bar Cultural Trust and supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture & Sport in partnership with the regional arts offices and local authorities.
