Discipline: Fused Glass

Deirdre has expanded her range of fused glass jewellery to include wall-pieces, having taken part in a number of exhibitions throughout the year. Glass fusion is the art of melting glass on glass. It is a complex process whereby the glass needs to be specifically treated so as to withstand the heat of a kiln. Deirdre loves colour which is reflected in her bright pendants, ear-rings and rings made from glass.
